Nagesh Kukunoor is an impressive story teller, His movies has an image which are feel good and had substance. With an impressive cast John Abraham Sonal Sehgal, Girish Karnad, Farida Jalal one would expect a interesting movie from Nagesh.But the movie becomes a boredom at a point ,and you find it very difficult to sail along with the movie. Two months of No movies .Tight schedules to keep, House shifting and I was left with no time for Blogging. Understandably change of activities but I was carving for a movie.Kites had bad reviews but I expected this movie for Gusty look of Hritik and trust on Anurag’s characters.Sadly this movie ended with nothing and absolutely nothing. Kites is a story about J (What does J stand for ?? Even in passport its J ,So funny ) who falls in love with Linda .who is incidentally engaged with Tony the son of Bobby who owns the biggest casino in Los Vegas. After so much of hesitation I went for My Name is Khan first day ,with zero expectation on Karan Johar Movie.I have had lots of irritating melodramatic stuffs in his previous movies,especially with Kabhi kushi kabhi Gham.I hated his creation like any thing.But this one.Not bad at all.Its a descent watch with great performance from Sharukh Khan. There are some people who make movies which leaves you thinking.Anurag Kashyap is one such director.After his modern day take on Devdas its now Gulaal.Gulaal was supposed to be his lauch pad but got delayed due to many reasons.Gulaal is a different make over for Hindi film from the talented director leaving his captivated DevD. I hate Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Devdas for many reasons.Its a grand and luxurious portrayal of a stupid guy which was no where close to reality.When I was watching that movie I was thinking the same ,why in 2000’s you have to make such a kind of period movie which has no meaning to what the reality of history.Abhay Deol does this with style and we can understand the movie from the beginning what a modern day Devdas would be. Whats wrong with Aditya Chopra.Its been thirteen years that he gave his first movie the phenomenoly loved movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.Then now he gives his third movie Rab De Bane Di Jodi with lots of expectation .But is such a ridiculous and it’s a pain to watch the movie from the director who has directed DDLJ and Mohabatein .
