Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009)




Every body said it’s a B Grade movie ,But some how I cant accept it ,Its a entertainer and I needed it badly.Jeeva rocks in the movie with his performance with the new girl Anuya ,SMS is a out and out entertainer with out any big story line.Movie directed by Rajesh is well supported by humour scenes of Jeeva and Santhanam.

Siva a middle class guy who meets Sakthi in a train.Both have acceptance problem between them and they fight each other every time they meet and slowly they discover the love for each other.How Siva and Sakthi falls in love is SMS. Movie is noteable for the hilarious comedy by Jeeva and Santhanam through out.They make you laugh out with the day to day humour which we go through with our friends .There is romance in the movie which didn’t entertain me.For me it was good watch with avoiding usual dramatic finishes and sentiments.No wonder it’s a run away success in Chennai.

Watched this movie yesterday. I agree with you - it was a wholesome entertainer. Liked both Jeeva and Santhanam's perforomances - "saary, stuck the english mama" :-D

With Silambattam Simbu needs a hit badly and he does what he knows the best.Dance and Action. Silambattam is a out and out Tamil Masala movie shot in a village atmosphere.Incidentally the Tamil cinema is able to break the Friday lucky day to release this movie on Thursday. Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy.
