Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy. பலர் வியந்திருக்கலாம் ,ஏன் இன்னும் நான் கடவுள் விமர்சனம் இந்த பகுதியில் வரவில்லை என்று.நான் படம் திரை இட்ட அடுத்த சில கட்சிகளிலே பார்த்து விட்டாலும் ஏனோ என் மனம் ஒரு வித திருப்தி அடையாது போல் இருந்தது.பல முறை யோசித்து பார்த்தும் ,அடையாத ஒரு அதிருப்தியை அடுத்த சில நாளில் மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை தனியாக சென்று பார்க்கலாம் என்று முடிவு செய்து பார்த்தேன்.இரண்டாவது முறை படத்தை ஒரு ரசிகன் என்ற முறையில் அல்லாமல் ஒரு விமர்சகனாக இருந்து பார்க்க நினைத்தேன்.அதில் வெற்றி அடைந்தேனா என்று தெரியவில்லை,ஆனால் பாலாவின் நான் கடவுள் ஒரு மைல் கல் . பாலா என்ற படைப்பாளியாக இருப்பது ஒரு சுலபமான விஷயம் அல்ல.பாலாவின் படைப்பாக இருப்பதும் ஒரு சுலபம் அல்ல.அதற்கு உரிய வீரியமும் ,விஷயமும் அடக்கி அதை ஐந்து வருடம் கழித்து வெளியே வருவது அசாத்திய நம்பிக்கை உரிய காரியம்.பாலா என்ற மனிதனுக்குள் இருக்கும் கதைகளை நாம் என்றுமே பார்த்தது இல்லை.பாலா என்ற படைப்பாளி நமக்கு காட்டும் உலகம் நாம் பார்த்திராத உலகம்.சினிமாவை அறியாத உலகம்.இந்த முறை உலகம் கொஞ்சம் மாறுப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது,இதை நான் ஏன் சொல்கிறேன் என்றால் உலகையும் அதன் வாழ்கையையும் ...
