God I really do not know how much time I have seen this movie.First and fore most thing is you will never realise you are watching a Foreign language movie. If you just go back to all the Big directors favourite movies Cinema Paradiso would be at the top.I can really realise why this movie is still celeberated among many movie lovers .The class and the Elegance in the movie which still remains fresh regardless of the period which the movie takes place. You can argue this is the best movie of all time .I would argue for sure.I want to mention the Cycle ride story Alferado and Toto
I bet you cant stop loving the small boy Toto in movie and the way he makes friendship with Alferado. There are some moments which makes you feel “Oh boy you have missed all this “.I remember when they used to screen Rajini Movie in my native village on a Festive season. The whole village will be celebrating and you can get eatables inside the theatre and you will get all sort of habits right from smoking in that front seat when you are watching the movie. I don’t think any body would deny that
I felt the way we had been loving the movies and way he have looked at movies.Amazing.When Salvatore Toto meets his old girlfriend at the late forties you also want him to do what he is intended. But truly the incident in the car becomes a natural outcome for both of them. Toto finds after thirty years that When Elena came back to meet Toto to leave the city, Alferado was the one who has stopped her seeing him. The realization part of Toto about Alferados love had been captured in a dull mood which gives a satisfying smile for anybody.
This movies is all about Love for movies, Love for Loved ones and Love for Life
You will love it if you love movies. I recommend this movie with Thumbs up on both the hands. This is indeed a commemoration for this great movie which was directed by written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
