When I started watching this movie I was presuming that its going to be a kind of travel story .I don’t have an idea on what basis I thought about as such.But it was totally opposite about a man how he slogs in his life and how he strains to live. Merchants of four seasons is about a movie which speaks of self compassion and love .When the guy Hens Epp( Hans Hirschmuller )returns home after a military stint he is not being received with warmth by his Mom.That defines the whole movie.I had no idea why he was treated as such in the beginning.He is terminated from Police force because of lust with an woman.He marries and sells fruits but he is being humiliated for he being shorter than his wife.He is been bombarded with the incidents which happen around him ,which is completely created by him.He has no body to blame or pity.Its him who has created the loneliness which he doesn’t want to.His wife leaves him and he is put in to enormous amount of pain by the depressive act with in himself.
