Discussing about Cinema is something which every body likes ! I remember watching X files when it came in Star Plus( It was actually in FOX channel where X Files started its series ) during the 90’s but I didn ’t follow it as I wasn ’t able to understand during that age.I wanted to watch X files when its sequel got released recently. This movie released in 1998 was expected much because of the hugely successful TV series X files .I am not a Sci Fi movies fan though I liked this concept of X Files. Nobody can deny they are the best pair after Ilayaraja and Manirathinam ,Bharathiraja and Ilayaraja in Modern day cinema .But now Harris Jeyaraj had sent a official note that they are having a split in a decent way.Last week I met Harris Jeyaraj in Barista with his wife so relaxed after his Varanam Ayiram release.I wasnt aware of the news when it came to me as a shock. It takes years to create a team in Cinema ,People say when entering in to the field for a director it is not the plot or your story which is necessary but its the team of good technicians which is needed to make the mark.We had seen it with many many examples.This was a good team and I was sorry to hear that they dont see each other nowadays face to face.Minnale,Kakha Kakha,VV,Pachaikili Muthucharam,Varanam Ayiram and it ends there.What a loss ? Probable loss will be for Thamarai the poet who wrote magical words for both Gautham and Harris.

Varanam Ayiram is straight from heart and not from mind .When you have something to say from your heart you are least bothered about the intelligence and you have to abide by your heart.Some how this high expectation on this movie would let down the movie from being a usual Gautham Menon movie.But truly I respect the intentions of the director to bring out a movie which wants to pay the tribute to his passed “ Daddy “ .
