I don’t know the releases are not in full flow as it was three months ago,We see a release only two weeks once and then the distribution gets stagnated for months.This week we got Thoranai,Vishal was banking much on this after his debacle Satyam. Thoranai is a movie which has the story of 70’s and 80’s.Younger brother Murugan ( Vishal ) comes to Chennai in search of his brother .He gets entangled with the gang war of two Dons of the city Tamil Arasu ( Prakash Raj ) and Guru ( Kishore).Its left to Vishal to clean up the gang to take his brother home . Movie is not worse but couldn’t be treated as a good entertainer thought.Movie entertains in parts with Santhanam doing the magic again through out the first half.He can switch off from his double meaning verses.Vishal doesn’t want to try any thing new as he did stupid in Satyam.This time what makes him loose is the PUNCH DIALOGUES.I couldn’t sit for a second when he speaks those dialogues.Its irritating and it had made the movie miss the

I think this movie is meant for the breaking the hangover from NanKadavul for Arya.Because this has nothing else to offer for us.The costumes looks stylish from Anuvardhan and some usual romance in the firsthalf which entertains us and the amazingly intense camera of Neerav Shah.Vishnu Vardhan disappoints his return with Sarvam. Movie has traces of inspiration from Hollywood flick 21 grams but it’s a Kollywood version all together.Karthik ( Arya )an architect falls in love with Dr. Sandhya ( Trisha ) and follows her persistently to get her acceptance.When Sandhya accepts his love , it doesn’t live long ,Sandhya dies in an accident.Chakravarthy a former football coach roams in search of Naushad and his kid Iman to take revenge for the death of his son who dies in an accident where Naushad is involved.Iman gets the heart of Sandhya through a heart transplantation and Karthik comes in for rescue of Iman from Chakravarthy. I was getting lots of Spam SMS about this movie and the poster of this movie was irritating for me .It read “ Tamil cinemavai mattra vanthirukkum oru thiraipadam “ meaning “ Movie which has come to change tamil cinema “.If you ask me frankly its so rubbish and idiotic to think as such even for publicity .I would definitely agree this movie had a different space but it had nothing new other than the characters because we don’t see any known faces. Due to IPL there were no big releases in the month of April, I guess the movies are back .This week had three releases .I chose to go with trusting SasiKumar .Pasanga is a different movie for many reasons.Its about kids but its not only for kids.Pasanga has the flavour to every body to enjoy.If you think its a prequel of Subramaniapuram or a movie inspired from City of Gods then you will be for a surprise when you watch.
