Sleepless in Seattle (1994)


Some times I wonder how love is possible with radically opposite way of life. Its so obvious love has always some thing to do with attraction and the best part of love is to impress continuously with in themselves. Some times loves breaks odd even if continuously impressed also. That’s the magic of love.Its been long while for me that I've seen a Tom Hanks movie .yesterday I desperately wanted to see a thriller but finally with no mood I started watching this romantic comedy movie.To be very frank the movie was not touching or so emotional but its one lovely movie to relax your mind.At any cost it does not disturbs your mind .This is one among movie which has every body good at heart.No wicked /Villains around .Good to catch for a evening .

Sam Baldwin ( Tom Hanks ) shifts to Seattle to live with his son Jonah after his wife Jannie’s demise. He misses her so deeply and he becomes sleepless .His son Jonah (Ross Malinger) after looking at his father calls of Radio station to tell about his father’s situation to a RJ Doctor. He speaks out in the air that his lonely father needs a wife. Letters and phone calls flood to Radio station. Annie (Meg Ryan ) who is fully engaged with (Walter)Bill Pullman after hearing the program falls in love for Tom Hanks. The magic around Jonnah,Annie,Sam gives the sleepless in Seattle.

Sam and Annie’s characters not meeting until the end of the film and the movie being about how right they are for each other ,It looked so funny for me at the beginning but some good humour and performance made this movie a lovable.One more interesting thing
I would say the movie was so lovable for it cast also. It was for so lovely to watch Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan again falling in love with nothing to know reason like “You’ve got a mail”. The movie has nothing apart from Tom Hanks,Megrayan and Little Ross Malinger. Can’t help from a movie’s total outlook that it look so small since its woven between them. It has nothing so massive to present.

This kind of movies are light and the atmosphere is so peaceful which steals your heart with some small wit, Music and performances. One thing which has to mentioned is the music and the songs which occur every where in the movie.It has some deeply in love kind of songs which is instrumental in making the movie a so pleasant to watch. Music by Marc Shaiman and the song “Wink and Smile “ were nominated for Academy awards.

We all want to find to be respected like Tom Hanks who value and respects his passed away wife and cherish on the memories. Its as usual honest performance from the great actor.I strongly feel nobody can take a better seat than him to portray a very sympathetic character.
Some times this kind of movies help is distressing out to make you feel so relax.It helped to do so on a tiresome day.

Every one growing up watching Rajini, Kamal would definitely agree; Aboorva sagotharargal, Batsha, Kadhalukku mariyathai or many to name it.  It may be completely not possible today with the schedule and the amount of new content which streams before you. With Silambattam Simbu needs a hit badly and he does what he knows the best.Dance and Action. Silambattam is a out and out Tamil Masala movie shot in a village atmosphere.Incidentally the Tamil cinema is able to break the Friday lucky day to release this movie on Thursday. Anantha Thandavam -The original Pirivom Sandhippom

Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy.
