Shivaji Rocks Chennai



Ya....I didnt miss Thalaivar for the first day,Got the ticket in Perambur Brindha on the first day.From the word go it was electric with 20000 kva transformer.
Thalaivar is rocking in Sivaji.Thalivar looks young and energetic .One thing came to my mind is the dialogues which he delivers with some mocks and Humours. Like
Yaaru "Moooru"
Kaun hai "keeenai"
I dont think we can find a nakkal Rajini in any of his movies.Shankar has given a new dimension of Rajini style and actions.Thats why we get different reviews all over (Source :India express Dated 17 .06.07/Edition Chennai) Common fans will expect the usual stuff which is missing but this is larger Rajini with his Macho masti and Magic.
I can bet Shivaji will be a new dimension to Rajini and sure in the future (If at all Thalaivar acts /./) this is going to be the prototype for Rajini formula.
Sujatha has contributed with his usual ellam therinja egambaram stuff with CRP and Enforcement directorate,Form 88c ....Sujatha is not upto the mark for a Rajini Shankar AVM combination..
One insight which cameto my mind was shankar has penned the character of villain with Sathya raj in mind.I think Thalaivar and Satyaraj in Shivaji would eb a astunding combination.I think that would be the Clash of the Titans in Indian Cinema field.ennama kannu savukiyama would be the sure dialogue in it .
Suman was good but his character was restricted in many aspects.I expected more from him when he shouts to Thalaivar "adi kesavanna pottu vatchu pongal sappitu kittu erupppannu ninatchiya"But miserably he fails to live to expectation..
Vivek dons a life time role.I think Vivek is the best suit cameo for this ..No denials on that.
Adhiradee song was made like Desperado which is a late entry to India cinema but still its fresh with Rajini and Shreya.Robert rodriguez will have a smile on this picturisation.Rehaman works for his miles stones.Oru koodai sunlight is a new dimension to Tamil tunes.Intro song is great but its picturised badly...Thats the only black spot for Thalivar.
What I get at the end of the SHow...Energy energy energy...I feel the satisfaction fully..Its a treat ...
One thing" Rajini movie watched after one week is not a Rajini movie" ..After all 50% contribution is by the Off screen entertainment whistling ,Screaming throwing papers ............fANS

There used to be days when I used to watch a movie twice, thrice or even five times in a theatre. Every one growing up watching Rajini, Kamal would definitely agree; Aboorva sagotharargal, Batsha, Kadhalukku mariyathai or many to name it.  It may be completely not possible today with the schedule and the amount of new content which streams before you. Some movies bring nostalgic moments when they are telecasted today. For example, I usually have it with Bombay, I remember watching it atleast 30-40 times in theatres in and around Tirunelveli. I have rehashed some of Tamil movies which is available in Youtube today which you should watch it again.  These were some of the movies which gave huge inspirations to film makers, script writers or be it any one loves cinema like me. Test it , first 15 minutes of any these movies and I bet you will sure complete the whole movie. With Silambattam Simbu needs a hit badly and he does what he knows the best.Dance and Action. Silambattam is a out and out Tamil Masala movie shot in a village atmosphere.Incidentally the Tamil cinema is able to break the Friday lucky day to release this movie on Thursday. Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy.
