The Worst of Blockbuster Tamil movies -A recent past Analysis

I was traveling to Bangalore yesterday and I happened to watch Ghajini movie on the way.All along since I watched the movie I watched and I was impressed by portrayal of Asin Character .I never noticed the other things in the movie.Now after two years I am able to find what the movie fooled around.I was shocked of the background score and logical followups in the movie of how it ignored the main plot.It was a super hit movie.The Short term memory loss was used for a promo purpose and I can say the director did not take any conscious effort to show it other than Surya's clean shave head.What a jarring music..... .In addition to it Some of the recent past analysis of what are worse in movies which have become superhits.

4.Worst direction :Gemini,Thullovadho ilamai

u need not go back years to dig up gemini, any recent ajith movies wud have made ur tasks easier.

hey cat though sachein movie has got no content in it but as a whole the movie is a good entertainer with good music camera and there are many rib tickling moments tooo. and more over vijay looks kwel in that movie and genelia tooo what else do u expect from a movie in 2.30hr .. but i agree the story line is week too

Guys..Vijay was cool i agree thats y the movie was hit...I said worst art direction because I have never seen any airports with Snow breeze in India,Surprisingly coimbatore airtport had in movie sachin.Whats is it trying to say the movie is cool????

Hi karthi,
Nice work man,but how come you forgot the "stupendous" director PERARASU.., who made the worst of all flims released but still managed to bag box office hits..
you list whatever in worst list he will be there..

I am very happy that sachin has come to the list for the right reason. I just happened to watch couple of scenes in that movie where snow breeze coming in like smoke blown at people out of no where even inside rooms. After those scenes I decided never to watch that movie, because how could we trust a director who does not have common sense to notice even this.
Good that some other soul has noticed the same.

There used to be days when I used to watch a movie twice, thrice or even five times in a theatre. Every one growing up watching Rajini, Kamal would definitely agree; Aboorva sagotharargal, Batsha, Kadhalukku mariyathai or many to name it.  It may be completely not possible today with the schedule and the amount of new content which streams before you. Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy.
