I dont understand why u ve rated VEL as one of your worst pick. Even ur guru Madhan has critically acclaimed the movie VEL. It may not be a best film, but definetly not a Worst pick. Rating Sucks for the big time.
In B& C Centers VEL is a huge hit. Whether d story is same or different tht doesnt matter, how people reacts when they watch it on a big screen thts important. I guess, HARI wins at this point, Me, saw the movie at my native. Ppl nsoyed @max. I would say dis time Yuvan has missed d bus.
One more, Why suddenly comment moderation is enabled? I know u might have received bad / worst feedback by readers.
I very well know that u will not publish my comments.
The ratings are my pick and not others pick ok..I am making it clear u are such a cranky critic .
By the way Madhan is not my Guru .I have never said it.Vel might be ur choice not mine ok..Is that very clear to u.

Tis is my blog I can do what ever Should I give a explanation to u..I WANT TO PUBLISH UR COMMENT VERY ESPECIALLY...its very funny .I take all the comments with geniune critic and U are such a crap which can be only enjoyed and can not be taken
Mr. K, U may / may not be a gud reviewer. But there are certain pts, certainly a should not have:
1. A reviewer should not have any pre-conclusions before watching the movie completely. (I saw many places in this blog that even before its release, you are havin some pre conclusion, for eg. for the movies sathyam, naan kadavul etc. )
2. A reviewer should check and read the correct statistics of a particular movie. (It should not like, what ever the DVD that u gettin one bad choice is the movie 8 Secs.) There r so many places whr the gud movies can be found (go to: www.mininova.org)
3. If ur blog is gud definetly ppl will visit again, u dont need to say Keep visitin each n every time.
Still lot more to say. But,, Mr. K One thing i understtod was, u only will accept positive comments. Definetly this attitude shouldnt be with a gud reviewer.

I want to clarify some things to you before you take a shape
1.The points which you raised about Vel and Maruthamalai
I opted to see Vel first among the releases in Diwali and What was so quality in the movie Music,Villain,Screenplay ,Lousy Vadivel ,Asin -Surya ? can you name any one.Just because fans at your native place screamed I can not add it to my favs.
Maruthamalai is a movie I loved for Masala and mostly for Vadivel comedy.Vadivel appears nearly in majority of the portion and his comedy was good.
Clearly the movies I picked shows "My picks" which means its my favourites.In this blogging world and that too in my blog I strongly feel I have the rights to publish it.If you don't like it its not in your list
2.Yes I have expectations about a movies depending upon the track record.No body can not claim that they don't have .I am not a full time reviewer.I do it for passion for movies and My passion towards the movies makes me expect.Even one of my friend has opposed this.But I can not avoid it.
3.Regarding ur view on Comment moderation ::::
Comment on the movie and review do not add ur comment on what I add to the blog;
so think who was acting funny?????
4.About ur comment on 8 Secs.::;Do you mean to say I should watch the movie only by knowing the statistics.Doesnt it contradict to your view of preconceived views.
I am not a movie expert ,I have never claimed it and I don't have idea of all the movies made ,I take inputs from web and many secondary data source.
5What is the statistics you want for the lists made.For the top 10 movies I made a voting list ,and in orkut also .As much as 45 votes were polled which were my sample size .
I had take strictly on the poll result.
6.All the reviewers are not same .Every body differs.This is my style .
7.I like Madhan for his wide knowledge ,I have never said he is my Guru.Did I mention it.?
8.Anu Vardhan costume designing was a mistake.I have corrected it and mentioned it in the posting also !! Was that a +ve or -ve feedback
9.For ur view on the phrase "Please visit back" :::: I don't have any comments for this,U sound so silly man in this .
10.I take all kinds of feedback its not that I take only positive feedbackHow can you have a conclusive thought abt this,Did I not publish your comment .See who has been conclusive ,You can always go back to my older comments by the readers ;which I have taken and changed.Yours seems to some what ridiculous

Movie review is an art and I duly accept it and art varies every where.

On a serious note , let me explain myself here - statistics is just statistics anyone is bound to make mistakes.Every day i see newspapers and magazines of the highest quality have a section called "Corrigendum".Everyone is bound to make mistakes and no one can assume a gross high handedness is underlining someone's mistakes.These are committed inadvertently.
Reviewing is as much as an art as movie making and for once someone has tried to come up with a "grammar " for the art of reviewing - huh as if that was as easy as the do's and don'ts in my Kinder garden school prospectus.The supreme nature of art lies in its ability to accommodate subjectivity.
Blog representing a democratic exchange of ideas no way means a crass ,peevish and rotten high handedness.
I only wish there was a healthy exchange of ideas.
U r doing a good job already as far as movie reviews r concerned. Continue doing it.

Karthik: Critism is to be taken, but not all the time. When it crosses a threshold, you need not approve those comments and rather personally reply to the individual with your views. This might not only restrict this place from being a place for exchanging heated words, but will also help in maintaining the dignity and quality of the content of your blog.
Others: I really admire your friendship with Karthik, but please restrain yourself from responding to the comment's for Karthik's work and also from using unwanted, unparliamentary, and filthy language. Let us also help Karthik maintain the credibility of his blog page.
WRT the content of the blog, I have appreciated the content and at times come down with some strong comments and views. I would keep doing this, until the time I enjoy reading his page.
Keep up the good work and try and enhance on certain aspects which I had already commented on.

Thanks for your comment machi..I had taken all the suggestion is right sense and u know that.Point to be noted as u have mentioned many of the readers have commented showing their views regarding repeated particular kind of comments and some whom I dont know personally .As u have rightly said and Mathi said I wanted only exchange of views on the work and not a unhealthy discussion as it has happened over this issue.
Lets keep a full stop and we will exchange healthy conversation which is what this blog is intended at ..
