I have to be a immensely unlucky guy if I would have missed this Movie.As I am watching all nonsense movies I would have missed this neatly made entertainer somehow.Thanks to my friend Divagaran who urged me for this movie.I had a severe headache after a nap but some how managed to reach to the near by theatre.
Arjun(Vinay) who returns from London wants to start his own business with his friends with the money he had sent to his father before his dad's death.He finds the money had been missing in his account ,Later he finds that his father had another family and then he comes to know that his dad had brought a house near Madurai.Arjun reaches out to the second family to get the documents.He finds his father's second wife Chandrika(Malavika) and her daughter Brinda( Lekha Washington) to get the document as he wants to sell the house.Brinda objects Arjun to sell as she demands that money to persue her education in US.Lekha seeks the help of the Guna who is a don in Madurai.Unpleasant things happen for Guna and Guna searches Arjun to take revenge.
It’s a typical tamil film with foursongs ,two stunts ,Vivek comedy and sentiments.But whats is attractive over here is no body has slipped or over reacted in their role.Every aspect of the movie is clean and it moves with such a perfection and the debutant director Kannan’s skill is remarkable.The characters are natural ,screenplay is seamless and it moves with a very decent pace to make the audience to watch the movie.
Vinay after Unnale Unnale has given a decent performance but his lip movements are no way synchronising with his delivery.I guess there is a problem with the recording.There is Bhavana in a crispy and lovely role as Brindha.I guess she fits the Madurai girl role perfect than any other actress.Its her fourth movie in Madurai.Lekha Washington has a serious role to play and she has done with style as a arrogant sister.Kishore Kumar after Pollathavan is different here not the same good gangster but a bad gangster.Naturally he has a style and terrifying eyes for which he can do three or four films like this.But he has to look for characters or he would be also wasted like other Actors.
Movie belongs to screenplay and ,It makes a twist and situations so natural which the characters in the movie do not need.How a unpleasant situations can change the course of many lives is well narrated in neat manner.The director hasn’t tried any thing new he has maintained the same old formula but over all this movie is noteworthy for the plot and screenplay.Go for it if you want to watch a typical neat ,natural entertainer with out any influence of Hollywood movie.
