Director Sridhar Passes away.

The man who redefined movie making in Tamil cinema has passed away.C.V .Sridhar passed away today and he remains as one of the greatest movie makers of Indian cinema. His movies will speak for generations no wonder the present generation also like Nenjil Or alayam ,Kathalikka neramillai.I don’t know its unfortunate coincidence that I was on a discussion about the movie Elamai Unjaladugirathu with my friend last Thursday about the directorial skills of Sridhar.

He is considered to be one of the best story tellers of Indian cinema and his movies were a revelation and he had created his identity through films like Kalyana Parisu,Kathalikka Neramillai and many more.He was ahead of his time through his humour sense which he had in his movie, his screenplay. He was one man in Tamil cinema who had a great sense of Visuals which were amazing for even best cameramen of today. His camera man Vincent was the man who could read his mind who gave the best of the shots of Tamil Industry in movies like Nenjil or Alayam,Athey Kangal .Truly an amazing legend of all time.

My dad used to tell a happening...at 70's when Sridhar was making movies like Nenjil oru aalayam, other jumbos in industry commented bad and said Sridhar is capable of doing only such movies....to prove them wrong...he made Kadhalika Neramilai..with 100% comedy. Such a gem in directors of Tamil films. A legend!!
