I have become a big fan of Farhan Akthar for his versatility he handles.Acting,Direction,Singing,TV host and he is recently rated as the sexiest man in India by Femina.Zoya Akthar is next to arrive from Javed Akthar family as director writer of the movie Luck by chance.Luck by chance stands for its name and it tells the emotional story of Bollywood from a insider view which is Zoya herself.

Vikram Jaisingh and Sona both want to make it big in Bollywood struggle to meet directors and producers for their first break.Vikram gets his first break in a Big banner of Romi Rolly ( Rishi Kapoor) productions to play the lead role which was dropped by Sarfan Khan ( Hrithik Roshan ) .Sona struggles and finds herself in B Grade movies and serials .Vikram becomes a overnight stars and avoids Sona because of his new found love with Isha Sharwani the star kid of Dimple Kabadia .

Movie speaks in a nonchalant way to portray the emotions of strugglers in a big bad world of Bollywood.Relations are thrown off and pride sticks like a stigma to the human when entering the show business and that’s what is shown in this movie with not to one character but with multitude of characters.Even the successful producer like Romi struggles with the guy whom he had introduced.Rishi Kapoor proves why he is one of the very charming actors of Indian cinema .He along with Juhi Chawla gives a astounding performance .

Farhan Akthar is cool ,composed as he is always .He has let off his image of a rock star and he had underplayed to an extend which is needed .Chance makes him evolute and he is not able to resist the fame which makes him indifferent to people who like him since he was a struggler. If Konkana is there in a movie its again proved that the movie revolves around her or she makes it revolve around her.She has given a varied emotions with charm and aggression as a struggler. Her head straight always on her chance which she looks for ,she makes you feel what it takes to be a struggler in a showbiz industry when you a woman.

Its the movie of Akthar’s and there are lots of Cameo roles from Amir,Sharukh,Abishek ,Kareena but the noteworthy performance is by Hrithik as the superstar Sarfan Khan .He is an actor who makes impression with any thing he does,the scene where he plays with kids makes your mind blow and tell you why he is regarded as a great actor.

Zoya Akthar making her debut ,who had to fight in the industry ( As what I read ) to make her first movie had written this movie and directed with passion and precision .The characters has their identities which you can easily make it out but its portrayed with out mocking at them and not digging too much inside because this has a varied characters to show on their levels of struggle.Movie is not only about the first timers its about even the superstar’s struggle to retain his star value,its about a producer’s struggle ,its about relations.

Movie moves in a very slow pace which may look like a offbeat movie,I was also not interested with the style and narration of the movie .It couldn’t have been more dramatic than it is.The dialogues are very sharp but it lacks assistance from the main screenplay.It travels here and there and not able to settle any where and ends in a poignant way.Some where we loose whom this movie is targeting on either Konkana or Farhan or the whole Bollywood.We get the answer but Zoya should have worked on the pace of the movie. Its a worth watch altogether for performances and the story line.
