Nagesh will be missed forever.


The man who defined Comedy in Tamil cinema,Nagesh undoubtedly one of the legends of Indian cinema and greatest comedian India has ever produced is no more with us.Nagesh will be missed !

Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy. Seval (2008)

Hari is back for this Diwali,Last year his Vel was the winner among the horses overtaking even the well made Pollathavan.What could you say he is a winner all along in B and C centers with completely action packed and emotions sowed.This time he makes a movie with such a kind but with Bharath. One thing I have to mention before writing this review is that there were more characters in the movie than on the cinema hall.And at one particular scene there were nearly 25 characters which spoke and I am not sure how Hari handled it. Seval is about a careless village guy Murugesan ( Bharath ) who falls in love with Parijatham (Poonam Bajwa) .Incidentally Gayathri (Simran) ,sister of Poonam marries Prem .Simran falls with Cancer and before her death she gets Poonam’s acceptance that Poonam should get married with Prem.Bharath and Poonam sacrifice their love for Simran.Unfortunate events occur for Parijatham and two people in the village lust for Parijatham.Bharath decides to take revenge on ...

Mirugam (2007)

Mirugam was a much speculated and much criticised movie before its release for various reasons other than the main movie and I took the option to choose though I didn ’t have any interest to watch this particular movie .There are two things which should be mentioned about the movie first you can not avoid comparing this with Paruthiveeran and director Sami has tried to rework getting inspired by Cult classic Paruthiveeran .Secondly I can not understand will there be any human like Ayyanar in our day to day society.Why was this movie made?It self is a big confusion.Is it for awareness or for narrating a story of a beast?.If its awareness we should be very sorry for the director ,I think the world has moved a long way from 1987 to 2007 with regard to awareness of AIDS.
