History writes Von Stauffenburg as one of the prolific and leading Nazi officer of his times whose his organizational abilities, and his radical revolutionary approach but end to inactivity in the Nazi resistance force.He was one man who from the first believed that the War is lost and he was the reason behind the operation Valkyrie.His professional approach and his resolve was the reason which made him to act accordingly to avoid unnecessary blood shed and further damage to Germany.

Operation Valkyrie is about the secret mission initiated by Von Stauffenberg to assassinate Adolf Hitler and avoid uprising in Germany after Hitler .It also had aimed to bring an alternate power in Germany after the war.Movie speaks in a brief manner about the moments before the July 20 1944 and after it .It speaks around Von and his failed mission to assassinate Hitler.

Tom Cruise resemblance and his deliverables support the character to an extend,but some how the energy needed for this character is missing .Tom Cruise execution of the role works and it intensify the mood to make us understand ,We are given with one of the memorable roles but it is one of the well understood role in a way to represent one of the memorable characters of World War II

The film supports the history and it moves as a meticulously made thriller.The mood and the characters support it ,though we know the failed mission .What happens next is well known but why it happened is well brought in the screenplay.Bryan Singer brings out the research and the deliberation to the thriller.Authenticity of the history can not be argued as it still remains as a conspiracy .It moves as a cold and tensed movie which gives the thrill through out the movie.

The movies shows very clearly that not all Nazi generals were supporting Hitler and some cared for the Nation.This is a strongly procedural and elegant movie in its style and its presentation.You cant expect a edge of the seat thriller but it classifies as a thriller for its mood of course though you know it.It disappoints in the end with usual style of World war movies but indeed it’s a tight movie and a worth watch.
