What would you do on a day if you meet your old love? We can not vouch for a greater enthusiasm, Because much of the words go unspoken. Because it depends on how one ended up the relation. Time is the one healer which will take care of any wounds and partitions. But the moment one meets her the time which was behind would get narrow and one ends up speechless and perplexed about your fate. But heart of hearts there is always an expectation that one will meet her while you are shopping, In meetings or in travel in the future.

It’s the same for Jesse Wallace (Ethan Hawke ) who meets Celine (Julie Deply )after nine years in Paris. Since then he had authored a book about his foregone love .The film from the initial takes off after they meet. Do you have any idea or have any predefined questions to be asked to your past lover? Now that after years and changes any body would like to ask why did you leave me ? There are always poles apart for the ways to handle the moment.Speak ,Speak ,speak and live the years which were behind and which was separating .

Jessie and celine start walking around Paris discussing their profession, about Jessie’s Book, their habits, their education, Ecology ,Politics and finally they out burst their state of life. There is nothing to hide in this movie in not mentioning because the conversation starts with enthusiasm , goes off as amateurish and it ends up emotionally with some thing to know each other. There are some moments we understand what a Man can be in the moment of handling Love regardless present or past .truly in a sensitive manner. As Celine rightly points out men are so easy to please. But the words shows how hard its for a women to take up and let go any relation and long for new relation with out confessing their poignant disorder .

This 80 minutes movie is a sequel of 1995 movie Before sunrise where Celine and Jessie in their youth meet in Venice to make love.Both the movie are directed by Richard Linklater .The Director had shot many single take shots which makes the conversation so real among the busy street.

Before sunset is at their thirties when they have commitments and resposibities.Before sunset does not preach you any thing but it does put you into a sense of good feeling where you truly long for one such moment . The best thing of this movie is that it does not pace up any thing ,it lets to settle down with any conversation or a feeling to take up the next thing. Amazing part is there is no silent moments in this film made of only two characters .Conversations ends up at a moment but continues again which lets the viewers to decide on the course of relationship. I was so concerned (Its obvious with all viewers) to know whether they are married and how peaceful is their lives .The story is compelling where you learn the maturity they have gained and the lessons time had taught them.

Its so obvious from Jessie about the love he had for Celine but she does not delivers with equivalent frequency takes time to tune .Jessie or Celine does not dig up in to any of their past so deeply.But she over takes in him is leading the conversations .They curse their mindset when they met nine years ago for not sharing any contact numbers which signify the real drive both inherited in terms of love they shared or the missed life they could have enjoyed .

In any terms the temper of love is so different from Hollywood movies in Before sunset where its so mature and I would say clearly its timid and hesitant. Still there aren’t any unspoken words but the difficulty to rediscover their past had put them hesitant .So matured ,heartfelt and technically superior this movie is a genuine refined romantic film.
