Hasini Pesum Padam Sucks !!!

How do you like to have a review of a movie?
Before knowing some of the bigger names of movie reviews the only name which was synonymous with movie review for Tamil cinema was Madhan. He had changed fate of many movies through his review in Anantha Vikatan (A.V)Magazine. From the past Anatha vikatan review carries lots of bench mark for its pass /fail.I remember the review of Ullathai Allitha which he declared as “Guaranteed Entertainer” with 43/100(The movie resulted as a Block buster of Tamil Cinema) and Kadhal Kottai which was noticed by the audience only after his review.A.V went on publishing the still of Kadhal kottai in the front page with 47/100 .At the same time his reviews can make a movie bomb at box office ."Boys" review had only a single word “cheeee!” which was the first result for the movie. Any movie with Madhan recommending with 40+ is a worth watch ,I would say. Today I agree his recommendations has varied intentions also.

Today in media reviewing a movie is being watched with sheer interest and craze for movies.Reviewers like Rajiv Masand,Madhan add a good piece of their interest to make their show interesting. But you can not argue or review a movie with a attitude “I know every thing ! “ .One programme which really sucks would be Hasini Cinema Neram. How obnoxious her dress and her way of presentation. She tries to prove every frame that she is Cinema wizard. She might be but her presentation doesnt look as such in the screen. Her comparisons of some movies were absurd. For example Comparison of Ammuvagiya Naan with Pretty woman .How atrocious, I would call Pretty woman a romantic comedy though it was set with a call girl, Ammuvahiya Naan is a hard hearted movie which had some thing to say. And the way she describes the story line “Oh god I hate it and it really burns off my veins.

There was a period when I used to like Suhasini very much. I used to think she is the ideal Bharathi’s Puthumai Penn (Some how with her character in Mandhil urudi vendum and Sindu Bharaivi). She along with Jaya Pradha were the two actresses who look immaculate in saree.Infact I used to tell my friend also to saree like them which looks so pleasant and graceful .I am mentioning this because the dress code also matters a lot for any show. The dress code of Suhasini irritates with her dress. I am not being harsh or being so foolish in saying about the show, But it’s a real exhibition of a poor show. Its being marketed high and telecasted at the prime time. It shows the importance given to her .Since no cinema review is being telecasted in prime time nowadays.

She tries to show she is acquainted with every thing in cinema and she also tries to prove that she is associated with all the legendary film creators in the country. It is true being wife of India’s most respected director and hailing from a important cinema family it is possible, but the show doesn’t need a any bit of that words.

I would certainly say that’s not the quality review show and it sucks, Can’t avoid, she some times takes very important topics for discussion and dips it deep resulting atrocious.
Any Tamil cinema lover would hate this program to the core. I hate this programme.

She intends to sound like a Messiah of movie review and critique for tamizh media and proves to be a fake entertainer who sounds very pseudo end of day.Her reviews are lousy and less thought provoking. She wants to reiterate very often to the viewers even while reviewing a telugu movie that she debuted in a movie of Mahendran.Association with a quality movie maker doesn't establish her as a quality movie maker.I think this is just one another instance of false gods being praised.
P.S.
After all these many years i still never understand why the heck she was praised so much for her directorial debut-Indira.
