Rambo (2008)

So presently John Rambo is living in Thailand/Burma ,remembering my childhood experience I can say he is Back .He is roaming in the dense woods of Burma ,where the civil war is burning and smashing the lives in to pieces for a reason I was not able to understand. What can be the mission for Rambo for a man who opted to be away from chases and blood spills.Michael (Paul Scheulze )and Sarah (Julie Benz)Christian mission requests him to accompany them to direct the way to a tribal village for medical aiding.Rambo hesitates and accepts as usual this time he saves the team with his bow ,arrow and knife .Still the same ,what can I say some moments remembered my days of childhood.

Some characters are legendary and viewers blindly believe they live for ever,Rambo&Rocky also belong to the same league of immortal characters. When I told that I am going to watch Rambo my friend said “He is Hollywoods Rajini Kanth “ .That gives the answer don’t expect too much enjoy what he is doing.Rambo as a character is not a entertainer through his wits and style. He is an introvert he hardly speaks he has never smiled in the Rambo Series (I hardly remember he smiled with the Afghan people in Rambo III).But makes him tick through his reserved stature and standing tall amidst pain and his macho image .This time his directorial ability has nothing to offer as the movie takes us for a manipulative blood ride.

In mere sense of viewing Rambo IV has nothing to offer apart from Sylvester Stallone. It all happened the same way through out the series but there were compelling episode for every thing to spill blood. But here the bodies and heads shatter in a new-fangled way.I was totally unconvinced for the chipping which takes place through out the movie .Rambo as usual comes as a champion and delivers only when needed.More than my experience with the movie I was clearly able to see how much really the Rambo fans enjoyed .Particularly when Rambo takes his Bow and arrow to target returning back from his silence where I could able to here only whistles and screams of welcoming the immortal action hero of Global cinema. But if you take it as a movie on the whole it is a poor movie with no strong screenplay though Rambo runs hard and fights hard.

We had seen these kind of movies in the past of one man saving a team ,but every movie had a equity to show ,this completely rely on the Macho Man. Directed by Sylvester Stallone he did not show any other differences for today’s evolution .Standing alone and closing himself for the external world, this time Rambo is fighting for others like Part II,III.Very clear the fans would be convinced with Rambo appearing again on screen itself ,unlike in Rocky Balboa where he generously accepts a defeat to a young boxer due to ageing ,here there is no looking back for 61 year old actor .His muscular status tells the story for Why he is throned in such position and he has tried new in his instinct for kill but not convincingly fresh.

Rambo is an action in raw terms ,plot so much undefined but John Rambo returns with Vigour and force to treat his old fans and make a treat for the fans who had missed the 80’s magic of Rambo .The actor is probably shown the indication to end the series when Rambo returns to his back home, walking with a green shirt and jeans on the roads to his house plated R.Rambo still we remember it where he walked with his long hair and scruffy look in 1982 “First blood “ which then became history in Cinema.
