The Deaths of Ianstone (2007)

When the creators are left with no option to think different in making a movie based on the plot which has been successful in the past .But only some succeed in thinking different .Because difference doesn’t appear just naturally. Difference needs to be applied in every sense. Deaths of Ian stone is a old wine presented in a dusty bottle.

Here the imaginations have gone weird from the beginning which has let down the movie in a bad way.I feel for some seasons we need a break from the bad blood spilling and Vampire like stories. We have seen lots and lots of it and we have seen in a nonlinear way and what ever way its different. If we just compare Ianstone story it has the ingredients of a racy blood shed movie which goes with different level of imaginations also, but still the whole movie looks so ordinary for the aspect of presentation.

Ian Stone(Mike Vogel) is hunted daily by a group of killers whom we shouldn’t ask ; his task is to protect a female Jenny for a reason that she is the only solution for him to live.More over why he is being chased and why he is been killed everyday sounds silly when they tell him at the end.I dont know to me technically the movie was good and competent but the content and the way it was presented made me feel i am watching a garbage movie. It was exactly the same for my friend also. But exactly what was their intention about this movie i was not able to make it out,to give a horror movie or a confusing movie.I rented after watching the trailer in one of the websites and it started off well but when the first death occurs the movie collapses, Vogel looks depressed for character and the movie. The story line was different and it could have been a racy thriller if handled properly. But what we get a baseless and zero thriller with manipulative scenes. There are some couple of interesting graphical scenes but it doesn’t make it watchable. I think i need to start labelling Must avoid also as Must watch movies .
