Satyam (2008)

How far you can show your emotions in experiencing a movie.You can enjoy or get irritated or you can be neutral.But here with this movie I was feeling as the person with out powers to stop the so called movie which was running in front of me for three hours.If I had a chance for sake of all the viewers I would take the responsibility to give the words to Director A.Rajasekhar for giving the worst movie in the recent history of Tamil Cinema.It was initially started as a movie which was directed by R.D.Rajasekhar ,the ace cameraman ,but later with some issues he moved away and its rumoured A.Rajasekhar is a notional director.How is this !!!!

Satyam was a hugely expected movie from Vishal as this was the first movie deviating from his usual action movie.Satyam is about a cop A.C.P Satyam (Again A.C.P ????) and his fight against the political evils.Three ministers get murdered by a unknown person ,when investigated Satyam finds its X –Cop Manickavel who was inspirational for Satyam to become a cop.Manickavel challenges Satyam for him to take action against the Minister Thondaisamy (Thotta Seenivasarao).Satyam lands in the Jail in the mission.Climax ?????

The first ten minutes showed all impacts of Kakha Kakha ,Vettayadu Vilayadu.Then it was a big hell all the way for the viewers.One of the biggest negative of the movie is Nayanthara and her so called Humour.It was such a idiotic and horrid humours .The songs with Nayanthara ,God I sincerely doubt about the team which shot it.What a horrible sense of picturisation.

Vishal took a decision of coming out of Sandaikozhi,Malaikottai image but he didn’t choose the right script.Six packs becomes a character here.I don’t know why they exhibit his muscles as a new to world product.Vishal is gearing some thing big and boring like Vijay and Ajith .I can say for sure.His dialogues have changed to Punch dialogues and his movements have become gimmicks.What a senseless period of heroism we have in our Industry.I am fed up writing about this.

Upendra is a welcome man for Tamil.He is good actor and he is fed with a good character but it went on as a faded hero .It would have been a good movie if the movie was developed only with two shades of characters.It would have been a novel try and would have dramatic scenes rather having the same old Telugu villain shouting .

The movie should look at its editing seriously.It should take away atleast two songs from the movie and the entire comedy sequences of Nayanthara as that was the moment when every body started feeling the heat and ofcourse the initial introduction scene of Vishal should be atleast believable.Director has wasted fantastic technicians ,it’s a life time opportunity as this movie had created a good expectation among the viewers.Such a trash movie which can not be watched in a travelling bus.
