Quantum of Solace (2008)
Daniel Craig’s second edition as Bond has lots of difference from the tradition way of looking at Bond. This is the first Bond movie to be made as a sequel and this is one movie with out any high level promotions made for any brands which is always omnipresent in Bond movies.Traditionally Bond is a high speed emotion less secret agent we knew but here Daniel Craig puts this quantum of Solace for his murdered lady in Casino Royale
Bond seeks revenge for the death of Vesper Lynd and is assisted by Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko) .Bond continues to the last scene of Casino Royale by bringing Mr.White to Siena and due to things get in to mess during interrogation due to M’s Body Guard Mitchell. He reaches Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a member of a environmental organisation who wants to take the control of water supply in Bolivia .Bond fights for revenge of Vesper and also against Greene.Bond finishes his mission by killing Vesper’s ExBoyfriend Yusuf and being aware that White and Mr.Quantum are still in loose.
Daniel Craig is icily, vicious, ruthless and stern which is definitely a irresistible feature to look at him.He doesn’t think so intense as the previous Bond probably we don’t see him thinking but he acts with his arms and his actions are missing those depth and reasons which we see in Bond as an Secret agent. But as Bond we know this man is electrifying !Gals have vanished ,Gadgets are missing and the wits which Bond makes usually is gone here.
The one thing which doesn’t come usually in Bond movies has happened here. The movie was the shortest of Bond movie (110 mins ) but it was dragging to boredom in many parts .The lack of depth in the script made me to feel as such.Battling and contused Bond is chased along the hills of Italy and the deserts of Bolivia all along the movie ,Typically there is a space for Bond in any of his movie which is missing through out.Verbal Sparring of Casino Royale was a classic touch we don’t see a good phrase even in this movie,Though we have some impressive actions through the movie. But the actions were brief leading to another.High intensity to this movie is provided by wimble eyed Daniel Craig and nothing else. But couldn’t understand why a secret agent is emotional and saving pictures of his love. This Bond has some reality and human side of Secret agent which is really a inclination now the Global movies are looking at.We saw that in Dark Knight now its QoS.
Marc Foster who made Finding Neverland and Monster’s ball has directed this serious Bond movie which is intentionally made to take Bond to a next level of characterisation ,I am not sure whether I was impressed by the portrayal of Bond not even spelling Bond James Bond nor his famous “ shaken but not stirred’.But with the huge expectations on the movie made me feel that there was some thing missing in the movie.I didn’t get what a common Bond movie fan would get but it was a good action movie if you don’t take it as a Bond movie. But some thing tells me Move on Buddy this is NXT generation Bond.If its so I have to watch it again.

U are back
Thanks man...its a high dark action movie. Some how i read it that The actual Bond which Ian Flemming portrayed was kind of serious and of less humour...Thats why we feel the difference.ACTION sequences are good but as u said it was continous which made us feel dramatic.
