The Bank Job (2008)



The Bank Job is a moving ,thrilling and shocking movie which can get in to your nerves so easily from the very beginning of the movie.Lots of movies have been made on Bank Robbery but this one comes with varied intentions of varied people in the robbery.Its always great to Watch Jason Stathom playing the criminal beating the cops.How much time we have watched this man doing this ? but still he has lot to offer in this similar roles.

The Bank Job opens with numerous characters,at the centre we are shown with Martine offering Terry to rob a bank in London.Terry (Jason Statham)puts a team to break the bank and when they do it,the whole intention of Martine (Saffrom Burrows)to rob comes as a shocker to London.Martine was persuaded to loot the bank by the MI-5 agents and it becomes a total trap for many of the high profile people as their identity is at stake because of the safety locker boxes. “The Bank Job” is a movie more-or-less based on the 70’s Walkie Talkie robbery in London when a gang tunneled into a Lloyds bank safe deposit area.

We are shown with Pornography, Drugs,hidden cameras,Adulterated love,Back dealing secret agents, dishonest supermodels, murderous Black radicals, black mailing wives, whoring royal princesses, pimps , a group of Bank Robbers.We are shown with nasty at its peak among which we have to choose the robbers as the good hearted people.The movie takes a dig at the porno interests in a very moving manner to show what is trapped as a secret in the secret lockers.Every body runs for the different kinds of secret which is hidden in the locker,Which gives a gap for Terry to evade from the crime they had committed.Terry as a man is underplayed till he loots the bank ,he runs a auto mechanic garage and lives with his wife and kids.But at the nick of time after the roberry he tackles the minds of the chasers and cop in a intelligent manner which puts him in to his life he wants.

There are many characters in the movie who share a limited space for them selves,every body have some thing to grab from the looted things which they can not claim it their possessions .But still the movie has been underplayed in many instances because of the number of characters which appear.Roger Donaldson who directed this movie decided to stay stylish in his plot rather being deeper which has helped him to assemble many things in a single plot.

The Bank Job can not be labelled as a usual robbery movie,its style and substance makes it a shocking and interesting movie .Worth watch !

Every one growing up watching Rajini, Kamal would definitely agree; Aboorva sagotharargal, Batsha, Kadhalukku mariyathai or many to name it.  It may be completely not possible today with the schedule and the amount of new content which streams before you. With Silambattam Simbu needs a hit badly and he does what he knows the best.Dance and Action. Anantha Thandavam -The original Pirivom Sandhippom

Below is the write up about a movie which I expect so much for this year.The story has been my personal favorite and is based on one of the best Tamil novel which I have read so far.I happened to read the novel Pirivom Santhippom during my college days ,which made me to think aloud about love.Written by Sujatha the story was initially published in Anantha Vikatan in early 80’s.The story of Pirivom Santhippom is of two series first in Tirunelveli second part in America.After eight years I am able to recall each and every characters of the work.This has nothing to do with my memory but with the beauty of the book.The main characters are “Ragupathi and Madumitha “.After reading the book I felt there can not be a sweeter name than Madumitha .Even the name of the particular character while reading the novel will make you feel for Ragupathy.
